Privacy Policy

1. What data we collect

When you connect your Instagram Business account, we collect and store:

• Your Instagram account ID and username
• An Instagram access token (encrypted at rest) to send replies on your behalf
• Inbound direct message text delivered to your account via Instagram's Webhooks API
• AI-generated reply text sent from your account

We do not collect personal information about the Instagram users who message your account beyond what appears in the message text itself.

2. How we use your data

• To operate the AI customer support agent on your behalf
• To store conversation history so the agent can maintain context across messages
• To display conversation history in your dashboard

We do not sell, rent, or share your data or your customers' message data with any third party, except OpenAI (used for AI response generation) under their standard API data processing terms.

3. Data retention

Conversation data is retained as long as your account is connected. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by clicking "Disconnect" in the dashboard, or by emailing us at the address below.

4. Permissions used

We request the following Instagram permissions:

• instagram_business_basic — to read your account ID and username
• instagram_business_manage_messages — to receive and reply to DMs

5. Your rights

You may request deletion of all your data at any time. To do so, disconnect your account from the dashboard or contact us directly. We will remove all stored account, conversation, and message data within 30 days.
